2021.08.30: 🎉 We raised a US$1.5M seed round at US$13.5M using nothing but our product.
We leveraged our product to bypass discovery meetings with investors who wanted to learn more about us and invest in our product.
Our Fundraising Quest enabled investors to learn more about our product, mission team and funding ask, while also providing a place for them to provide their details and ticket size.
Turns out investors really loved the experience and early exposure to our product, with every single one of them ending up completing the Quest using their contact details, firm interest, and cheque size. 🤩
Having done things this way made the eventual Zoom calls with investors much more productive, with everyone joining having made their homework 😲. It also helped show investors what we’re actually all about: building an amazing product with real impact, saving time, and making everyone's life easier! 😇
