We are running a food centric mobile app called Droolie. Our vision is "Find food, smart & easy"
We have found over the years that a lot of the times it can get too <insert swear word if you're over 18> hard to decide where to go to eat.
Say you feel like having a burger around an area in the eastern suburbs of Sydney because you will need to go there to meet up with friends. Chances are you will search online or through social media apps/sites or review sites or blog sites. We personally always end up confused and decided after wasting some time on those sites to just pick a place and hope for the best.
Won't it be nice if you can just launch an app and then with a few taps, it can give you a list of restaurants, cafes, etc that have burgers in their menu + the actual list of different burgers they have available. From a plain old beef burger to the fanciest burger with activated wagyu beef stuck under deep fried mozarella sticks and some secret spicy sauce (one can dream). Even better, what if the app can also tell you which ones got the most likes and whether it has any documented allergens (maybe you want gluten free burgers?) and roughly how it tastes likes.
Our mobile app can do all that and best of all, those things are only the basic features we have. We will be adding more and more smart features and more data to make the experience of choosing where to eat a much more pleasant one.
